The founder of the EJPP : Edmond Jardas.

EJPP plan can trust on a solid network of members and sympathisers willing to help in any way they can.

On a regularly time schedule, trucks filled with aid equipment (collected by EJPP) are off to Croatia. Even now, war is over, but all help is still welcome.

* financial aid to Croatian orphans in Croatia,

* help to the school community of Obrovac in Croatia,

The regulations of this association without intentions of gain were published in the Belgian Official Gazette on the 27th of January 1994. The Edmond Jardas Parents Plan carries posthumously the name of the son of Bruno and Liliane Jardas - Majdic.

The idea was born to provide not only pure material help. But more specifically any kind of possible help to the children who lost their father and / or their mother during the war. So that they can begin or continue school in acceptable financial circumstances.

Edmond Jardas died during one of his aid trips to Croatia. Born in Rijeka, Croatia, on the 22nd of August 1964, he moved to Belgium with his parents at the age of one. When the war broke out in the country where he was born he decided he could not just simply sit down in his second fatherland and look what was happening over there. He immediately started an efficient humanitarian relief action. During one of his humanitarian trips in preparation of the Parents Plan, he died somewhere between his natal town and the refugees camp of Opatija, on the 19th of September 1993.

The present association, proud to bear his name, has until now succeeded in sponsoring two hundred children financially. All this thanks to the highly motivated co-operators and the many sponsors. But the list with names of Croatian orphans still looks endless. The task is enormous, as the association also takes care of the protection of the financial sponsors: we control all files constantly in co-ordination with the Croatian association of widows and diverse international organisations.

There is a very strict supervision of all financial transactions.

Project "Orphans" : Support Croatian orphans, by "remote adoption".

This means financial support of a Croatian child unit end of school period.

Project "School Obrovac" : Support a school in Obrovac (Dalmatia, Croatia).

This project support infrastructure and school material. Help also to the reconstruction of this school.

In full co-operation with a local Croatian humanitarian organisation ("Association of War Widows", Zadar, Dalmatia, Croatia) and School Board of Obrovac School (Obrovac, Dalmatia, Croatia).

Until now, some 300 children are assisted and financially adopted. 150 humanitarian transports sent to Croatia. But the list of those who still need help is long and our task enormous...T
